Working With Suppliers
"Increasingly people are questioning the working conditions and standards within the suppliers and on the farms that provide us with the ingredients and materials that we depend upon. Consumers are rightly concerned, and want to know that brands they trust are working to protect and develop human rights within their supply chain. People want to know what companies are doing to exert their influence to improve standards and ensure reasonable conditions. It's a challenging topic, and one where Cadbury has developed its activity and works closely with others, including our suppliers, to improve those standards."

"To enable me to make informed shopping choices, please can you advise me how you work with your suppliers to ensure that the farmers providing the ingredients for your products recieve a fair, sustainable price for their goods, ie. cocoa, milk, sugar etc. Many thanks."

"I was wondering whether you have a corporate code of conduct that meets the International Labour Organsiation (ILO) if so what are you doing to ensure this is implemented and monitered?"
